People Of Public Transit, founded in October 2009.

My name is JM, I’m 28 years old, and I live in Pittsburgh, PA. I started POPT because of two reasons 1) I love people watching and 2) I ride public transit. On a daily basis I would see things that all my friends needed to see, but they were never around. So POPT was born.

People watching is fun and the public bus and subway systems are littered with amazing photo opportunities. Many of us have been sitting alone witnessing something amazing and only wishing we could share the experience with our friends. Well now you can with People of Public Transit!
